BASIC REGISTRATION

Be a minimum of 19 years.

Be from a similar cultural background to our clients. This means that your first language must be English or if not, then it could be a northern European language such as French, German, Dutch, Swedish, Spanish or Italian. Our clients are looking for sitters/nannies that have been raised/educated in culturally the same way as their children and someone whom the children can easily identify with.

Have excellent social and communication skills.

Always be mindful of the huge responsibility of caring for other people's children (or indeed your own!)

Have the ability to be a positive role model for any child in your care be it for just one evening or for a year contract.

Be available for at least 3 months from the date of your application and be available for a face to face interview.
APPLICATION FOR PROSPECTIVE CARERS

In order to become a babysitter/childminder with Rent-A-Mum, you MUST have legal right to work FREELANCE in Hong Kong.

In order to become a Nanny or Maternity Nurse with Rent-A-Mum you must have a solid CV showing hands-on experience working in a private environment together with associated references.

Rent-A-Mum is a busy agency and will only reply to applicants with whom we think are suitable to join the team.
