Rent-A-Mum is a native English speaking childcare service operated by expatriates for both the expatriate and Chinese communities in Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific Region. We offer a comprehensive range of services ranging from full-time nannies, to maternity nurses, to ad hoc daytime childcare and babysitting. We pride ourselves with having a very “people centred” approach, and always take the utmost consideration in our placements, whether it is just a request for an evening babysit, or a full time nanny placement. We have two company mottos; “The needs of the child are our first and foremost”, and “Effective communication is the key”. These business philosophies are never far from our minds.

Rent-A-Mum has a long history in Hong Kong, at least 30 years, and has an excellent reputation for providing high quality childcare at reasonable rates. All girls registered with us are native English speakers. They are initially interviewed and background checks/references are taken up. It is important to us, that all those registered with us, whatever their professional backgrounds, are of a good moral character, are generally sociable people and are well-presented. The majority of these people are qualified as childcare professionals and/or are experienced nursery nurses, teachers midwives and nurses.
