This was my first international job and I was not used to city living. Upon arrival in Hong Kong, Shirley’s support was invaluable. She familiarized me with the local area; showing me where everything was, including public transport, local facilities etc. She introduced me to other people working in the childcare field, and ensured that all practicalities like accommodation and visa permits were taken care of.
